Job Description
Join BBA as a Senior Engineer in Vancouver, BC, leading the charge on transmission line projects. Engage in detailed overhead transmission design and mentor teams across various phases of complex projects.
At BBA, you will leverage over 10 years of experience in overhead transmission lines engineering, primarily focusing on HVAC and HVDC projects. Your role includes performing detailed designs, ensuring compliance with CSA and IEEE standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases. You will also be instrumental in client relationship building and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design of high-voltage transmission lines up to 765 kV
• Prepare engineering deliverables including drawings and specifications
• Model transmission systems using PLS-CADD and other software
• Provide field engineering support during construction
• Develop client relationships for repeat business
