Senior Engineer, Projects (Elkford)

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Projects, the Senior Project Engineer will lead small to medium capital projects from concept to commissioning. Projects include earthworks, civil infrastructure, industrial buildings and other site development initiatives. The role collaborates closely with operations, technical services, maintenance, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets and execution plans for a portfolio of capital projects.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project closeout activities.
