Job Description
Role purpose:
The L1 Linux Administrator is responsible for providing first-level support for Linux-based systems. This includes monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and escalating issues to L2/L3 teams.
The role ensures system uptime and supports routine operational tasks in a 24x7 environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing Server related Incidents/Service Requests and Change Requests within the defined SLA.Perform Linux OS patching as per scheduled maintenance windows.Handle user management tasks including account creation, permission assignments, and password resets.Knowledge in Linux administration and Troubleshooting, Knowledge about Ansible and containerization technology.Fixing Linux Hardware and OS issues/problems.Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
