Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls professional to lead major nuclear/power generation projects with teams of I&C engineers. The role includes technical design, procurement, planning, and coordination for power plants, including small modular reactors (SMR).

Responsibilities

• Generate engineering design documents and deliverables for power plant systems (e.g., logs, network architecture diagrams, instrument lists, I/O lists, installation details, schematics, wiring drawings, calculations, studies, technical specifications).
• Lead major projects, supervise and mentor lower-level engineers, and review their work and assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous I&C design experience for large-scale power plants.
