What You Will Enjoy Doing
- You perform advanced qualitative and quantitative gas analyses, ensuring full compliance with accreditation requirements and internal quality systems
- Ensure reliable, accurate, and traceable analytical results are consistently generated and conduct a 100% independent review of analytical data prior to entry into LIMS and submission for secondary-level review
- You demonstrate advanced instrument troubleshooting capabilities, particularly on Gas Chromatography (GC) systems, including fault isolation, method performance issues, baseline instability, detector performance, and matrix-related challenges
- You apply a strong, practical understanding of GC principles, including columns, detectors, carrier gases, calibration strategies, and method optimisation
