JOB DESCRIPTION
Axcelis is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Analyst to lead advanced multiphysics modeling for semiconductor capital equipment. This role focuses on solving complex, real-world engineering problems in high-vacuum, thermally sensitive, and precision mechanical systems, with a direct impact on product performance, reliability, and cost. The ideal candidate brings strong industry experience, applies first-principles physics to practical design challenges, and uses simulation to drive critical engineering decisions.

What you will do: 
Lead advanced FEA and multiphysics simulations to support design, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
Own analysis activities end-to-end, including model setup, validation, and design recommendations.
