Senior Physical Hydrogeologist

The role of the Senior Physical Hydrogeologist is to apply senior technical expertise, execution, guidance, and oversight in the management and completion of hydrogeology projects. The responsibility of the Senior Physical Hydrogeologist also includes the mentorship and training of junior and intermediate hydrogeologists, as well as participating as a Reviewer for MEMS’ reports to ensure the quality and delivery of physical hydrogeology services to MEMS’ clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope and manage hydrogeological studies for environmental assessments or impact assessments for in-situ oil sands, coal mine or other projects including the determination of regional and local hydrogeological setting and baseline groundwater quality assessments.
• Proposal preparation including assessing project requirements and client needs, scope definition and risk assessment of the project, and development of an appropriate execution plan.
