Accountable is a young fintech/taxtech focused on helping the self‑employed automate their accounting and taxes with a simple mobile and web app. We are 80+ people spread across offices in Berlin and Brussels, as well as remote locations throughout Europe. Our mission is to create a product that is incredibly easy and fun to use, requiring no knowledge of tax or accounting, and we are growing at a rate of more than 150% per year.
The Role
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to own and evolve our Kubernetes‑based infrastructure on AWS. You will ensure our microservices platform is reliable, scalable, cost‑efficient and empowers developers to ship with confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Own and maintain our AWS EKS cluster, including node pools, networking, scaling policies and upgrades.
- Configure and tune Karpenter (node‑level) and KEDA (pod‑level) for efficient autoscaling and cost control.
