Position : Senior Purchaser – Power Transmission
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Local Site Purchasing and Local Vendor Management: reassessment of needs, launch of RFI, RFQ, contract design, implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement plans.
- Supports the definition of category strategy and Business Units, in line with overall group vision, and ensures alignment of practices across group, BU, and sites.
- Acts as level 1 escalation for PSS operations for the assigned site(s) (< €50,000).
- For purchases > €250,000, responsible for purchasing performance and implementation of procurement strategies, contracts, and/or agreements in collaboration with the Group.
- Provides relevant reports to plant/site management on purchasing activities and performance.
