Senior Go Engineer - Database Focus | Up to €105k B2B + PTO & Stock | Remote (EU)
A leading software company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Go, K8s, and databases to join one of the fastest-growing projects in the Cloud Native space. The ideal candidate will be a strong Go engineer with extensive experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Kubernetes experience is also needed.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and manage database performance tooling using Go and C++.
- Ship capabilities focused on query inspection, index guidance, and automated tuning to drive tangible reductions in database spend.
- Enhance and support compatibility with PostgreSQL and MySQL wire protocols, along with major managed database platforms such as AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, and Azure’s database offerings.
