Our client is a large government department, seeking Senior Systems Administrator (Splunk) to manage and optimise a Splunk Enterprise platform providing actionable insights and supporting operational and security monitoring. You’ll act as a Splunk SME, ensuring platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement while mentoring team members.
About the role You will:
- Manage the Splunk Enterprise environment, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Optimise platform performance, reliability, and security.
- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and requests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on system upgrades, testing, maintenance, and change releases.
