Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal PHP Engineer for a full-time, remote position (40 hours per week) based in Colombia. Our client is a leading expert network connecting business and government professionals with industry and subject-matter experts to answer research questions. REQUIREMENTS 7-10 years of professional experience developing web-based & CLI-based applications in PHP frameworks. Experience using open-source PHP (Symfony and its components and/or API platform, or heavy design pattern PHP framework). Understanding scaling in LAMP: leveraging Redis, RabbitMQ, and SupervisorD. Understanding how to leverage APMs, such as Datadog, to isolate performance bottlenecks.
