Job Description
Brandt is seeking a Service Manager for our Ayr Peterbilt location. The Service Manager will manage sales and delivery of after-market support services (component diagnostics, repair, and replacement) for truck and trailer business, overseeing the service department and daily activities of foremen, leadhands, service writers, and mechanics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing service workflow
- Enforcing standards, policies, and reporting practices to established standards
- Developing and managing the Service Department budget to meet financial and operational goals
- Preparing quotes for customer work orders; opening & closing work orders
- Inspecting/operating customer equipment as part of resolving concerns/diagnostics
- Monitoring service revenue and expenses monthly
