This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production machinery and site services within our food manufacturing environment. The Shift Engineer will focus on minimizing downtime, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting production targets.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packaging equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, performing effective fault diagnosis and repair.
• Ensure all machinery operates in line with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
