Skilled Centreless Grinder
We are currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Skilled Centreless Grinder to join a busy and growing engineering environment. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is ideal for an experienced individual with a strong background in precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate centreless grinders (experience with Wickman Scrivener, Ghiringhelli, Cincinnati or Tschadun machines is essential)
- Operate Myford grinders (desirable)
- Support 2nd operation processes such as Thread rolling (desirable), Part marking, Drill banks, Depitching presses, Torque testing, Deburring (manual and rotary)
- Conduct first-off and in-process inspections for 1st and 2nd operations
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures and correct use of PPE
