Job Summary
Responsible for programming, optimizing, and supporting SMT production lines, including pick-and-place machines, to ensure high efficiency, low defect rates, and minimal component wastage.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and optimize SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production lines.
- Create and optimize pick-and-place / mounting machine programs.
- Set up feeders, tape orientations, and perform nozzle changes.
- Validate machine programs for new PCB designs and product variants.
- Support production runs including troubleshooting, changeovers, and line balancing.
- Analyze and mitigate placement errors, feeder issues, and component wastage.
- Work closely with Production, Process, and Quality teams to improve yield and performance.
- Maintain documentation including setup sheets, machine parameters, and change logs.
