**SMT Maintenance Engineer**
**Position Summary**
Leads and controls the day-to-day activitiy to ensure compliance to standards, better yield, higher-quality products and more efficient processes.
Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement projects that affects product functionality, BOM costs and material usages.Implement improved processes through capability studies, poka-yoke devices, statistical process controls, PFMEA, 8D, DoE and control plans.
**Responsibilities**
Review manufacturability of the product starting from Proto to Pilot
Process Qualification, Analysis & Assessment (NPI)
Qualify the jigs & fixtures fabricated by in-house and outside fabrication
Improved the cost effectiveness, efficiency and quality of production procesess
Develop method, practices and processess used to manufacture AISMT assemblies
Ensure processes in in control and comply to customers's requirements and applicable standards
