Contract Software Developer -
Remote Short‑term engagement
We're partnering with a Bristol‑based start‑up seeking a developer to support a time‑sensitive project.
Immediate objectives:
Integrate Autoware (open‑source self‑driving autonomy) with the CARLA simulator on a local machine, enabling destination setting, autonomous navigation, and obstacle avoidance. This requires the full Autoware navigation and AI stack to be running.
Containerise the Autoware setup using Docker and integrate it with our existing AWS environment. Autoware will need to be deployed on a separate EC2 instance and communicate reliably with the EC2 instance running CARLA, replicating local‑machine behaviour.
