Software Development Engineer

The Role

As a Software Development Engineer, you will support development activities across a range of technology areas including Radio Frequency/Optical communications, RADAR/Electronic Warfare, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Cyber/Crypto-Security and Joint, Air, Land and Maritime Domains with projects spanning all levels of technical maturity from proof-of-concept demonstrators to full production systems.

Day-to-day, you will be exposed to a number of exciting projects QinetiQ are operating on and will develop your talent, by working on a range of skills at the forefront of technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

Support the delivery of cutting edge projects, shaping how delivery is executed and applying your development skills across a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle

Design, develop and test new software, whilst adhering to industry best practices
