Software Development Engineer

Job description

The role of the software engineer is to build high-quality, maintainable and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions by studying business needs, conferring with process owners, and studying systems flow, data usage and work processes.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
• Assist in the estimation of tasks, identify possible obstacles and propose appropriate solutions.
• Perform key activities across software development lifecycle.
• Serve as technical lead on projects assigned, working with customers to meet deliverables and resolve technology or system issues.
