Software Engineer (Full Stack & Data Engineering)

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack & Data Engineering) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to support two closely related enterprise platforms: a full-stack financial reporting application (Java/Spring Boot backend, Angular front end) and a Python/PySpark based data platform that powers reporting, data storage, and analytics. This role requires a balanced full stack and data engineering skill set. Initially, work will be more focused on the full-stack application as it completes active development. Over time, the role will transition to be more heavily involved with the data platform as the application moves into maintenance mode.

Responsibilities:
