Software Engineer, Fullstack (Remote)

About the Role

This team consists of Analytics, Design, Engineering, and Product and works closely with Advertising, Editorial, and Marketing. Our team powers the core of the subscriber experience:
Content (articles, podcast player, etc)Community (comments, live rooms, game discussions)Curation (front page, push notifications, etc)Search & Discovery (feeds, homepage)
As a full-stack engineer, you’ll get to work on every part of the stack: web frontend, backend API, dev ops, database, and analytics.
This role is 100% remote for candidates currently residing in either the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

Work with Design and Product teams to build a web UI that is beautiful, performant, and well-engineered.

Architect and build the backend/API to optimize for performance, growth, scalability, ease of future development, and code quality.
