Software Integration Engineer

The role

As part of our Defence Delivery group, the Software Integration Engineer will contribute to the development and integration of the Saab 9LV Combat Management System, a naval command and control system that integrates sensors, weapons, and data to provide situational awareness and decision support for maritime operations. As a member of a software system integration team in a large software development organization, the role is responsible for integrating and testing software that is mission essential and safety critical.

Further, the successful candidate will:

• Maintain software integration environments, including integration and installation of software and equipment into test reference sites and various Linux-based environments.
• Troubleshoot system issues related to Linux servers, networking infrastructure, VMs and containers in distributed environments.
