Solar Roofer
Manchester - North West
£19 per hour
Construo Recruitment are seeking experienced Solar Roofers to lead roof-mounted PV installations across residential and commercial projects around the North West.
This role is ideal for a skilled roofer with hands‑on solar experience, confident in structural mounting, weatherproofing, and full DC array wiring, with a solid understanding of UK solar standards and MCS compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems on a range of roof types, including pitched (slate/tile), metal, and flat roofs
- Complete all roof‑level DC wiring, including:
- Module interconnections and string wiring
- Cable routing and management
- Installation of DC isolators, connectors, optimisers, and microinverters
- Earthing and bonding of arrays and mounting systems
