Solution Architect – Interac e-Transfer Modernization Project Summary / Objective: Vancity is upgrading its Interac e-Transfer Send and Receive capabilities to API version 3.7 to modernize its payments platform and align with evolving Interac standards. The primary objective is to ensure the platform is ready to support Canada’s Real-Time Rail (RTR) ecosystem and enable faster, real-time payment experiences for members.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze current-state Interac e-Transfer implementations by reviewing existing design documents, API specifications, and end-to-end payment flows across Digital Banking, Central 1, and Temenos T24 core banking systems.
Translate high-level solution architecture into detailed low-level design (LLD) for the Azure-based integration and orchestration layer, aligned with microservices-based architecture principles.
