Special Operations Specialist (Strategy/Plans)

Summary About the Position: This position serves as a Special Operations Specialist (Strategy/Plans), GS-0301-13 responsible for establishing future strategy, plans, and strategic assessments for the execution of Special Operations (SO) within the Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) area of responsibility (AOR). It is located in Stuttgart, Germany on Patch Barracks. Responsibilities Assist in designing SOCEUR Theater Campaign Plans (TCP), theater posture requirements, and helps orchestrate sensitive operations supporting the DoD and Combatant Commands. Coordinate, synchronize, and implement high-priority EUCOM Contingency Plans (CONPLANs). Collaborate with US government departments and agencies to secure the necessary authorities, forces, and funding for special operations.
