Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading and delivering the safety analysis for SaskPower’s first nuclear power plant. This role’s accountabilities are critical to the licensing, design and construction of SaskPower’s nuclear power plant(s). This position ensures compliance with nuclear industry best practices and the requirements of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. The Specialist, Nuclear Safety Assessment would possess a strong background in nuclear engineering or a related field, with extensive experience in safety analysis within the nuclear industry. They should have a deep understanding of nuclear safety regulations and best practices, particularly those set by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
