Job Description
Specialist, Systems Infrastructure & DevOps (Research Storage)
Full‑time fixed‑term position for approximately 12 months, with possibility of extension.
Reports to the Team Lead Infrastructure Services (Enterprise Compute/Storage). The normal shift is 7.0 hours per day, five days per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30). Overtime is rare but may be required for incidents or maintenance windows. Work can be high stress due to critical infrastructure that must be available 24/7.
This position is part of the AUPE bargaining unit.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise storage platforms (SAN/NAS/Object) including provisioning, zoning, LUN masking, replication, and performance turning
Automate deployment, configuration, and testing using IaC (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, REST APIs, Terraform)
Advance automation initiatives using IaC expertise
Manage storage system such as Everpure, NetApp, Del...
