Speech Pathologist

The Role 

NextSense has an exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join our team at Deakin, ACT. This is a permanent full-time role, reporting directly to the Network Manager. You’ll make a difference in this role by:

• providing high quality, client-centred services that assist individuals with vision and hearing loss to achieve their goals and aspirations
• implementing best practice services for clients in clinical and educational settings
• providing evidence-based assessment, intervention supports and other strategies to assist clients in achieving outcomes
• delivering services in person, via telepractice, in a NextSense centre, client home, school or other appropriate setting
• using a person/family centred framework when providing services
• developing, delivering and evaluating Individual Support Plans and progress reports with the client, their family and relevant others
