Sr Buyer (Aguascalientes)

Acts as team leader and strong motivator of self and others, providing instruction and guidance to buyers to drive and deliver results. Develop strategic sourcing plans and manage sourcing activities for the commodities. Performs comparative analysis of competing suppliers in order to recommend the most competitive source for specified commodity.

Responsibilities

• Negotiates and establishes commodity prices in support of the department's cost reduction goals. Assists other buyers with complex price negotiation. Engages with end users of assigned commodities (client groups) to establish understanding of the requirement and specifications of commodities.
• Plans, develops, implements, and maintains cost reduction plans for assigned commodities. Track and validate cost saving data.
