Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of a mission-critical internal indexing system built on Elasticsearch.

This role is execution-focused and hands-on. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and operating the internal indexer and its supporting data pipelines, while collaborating closely with the Staff/Principal Engineer who defines overall platform architecture.

The ideal candidate is deeply experienced in Python, SQL, and Elasticsearch, and thrives in owning a production system end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Indexer Ownership (Primary Focus)

• Own the design, implementation, and evolution of the internal indexing service.
