Sr. Payroll Tax Specialist

Key Responsibilities Prepare/review payroll tax filings ensuring compliance and accuracy Own end-to-end tax lifecycle: filings, payments, reconciliation, and amendments Resolve complex agency notices and discrepancies with minimal supervision Liaise directly with federal/state/local agencies for issue resolution Support audit readiness and compliance reporting via internal QA reviews of cases and tasks/processes for efficiency gains Be part of internal QA team with deep US Payroll Tax expertise to identify process gaps and drive proactive resolutions to improve client experience What Will Make You Stand Out Strong federal/multi-state tax exposure with deep regulatory knowledge and Conceptual understanding of US Payroll Tax system Experience handling escalations & client-facing issue resolution High ownership mindset with ability to “think on your feet” Proactive problem solver focused on client satisfaction & retention Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical thinking
