Our test platform development team is under Characterization and Analysis Group (CAG) that provides test solutions to support design learnings at the transducer level to the Transducer Design teams. We work closely with CAG-US and transducer designers in MN, USA, and Springtown, UK.
About the role - you will:
Work with Test Development and R&D Operation teams to develop, qualify, and deploy test applications and test tools (HW/SW) for design feedback and test process controlWork with Design and R&D Operation teams to conduct the magnetic recording experiments to characterize performance and reliability, perform data analysis of the expected performance in comparison with the results and present results to Recording Head Development teamsConceive and develop solutions to R&D Operation teams through the application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices and proceduresExercise independent ju...
