Job Description
As the Storage and Data Protection Specialist within our Platform Engineering team, you will be the technical authority for our enterprise storage ecosystem. Your mission is to ensure that our data is highly available, performant, and—above all—recoverable.
While we are moving toward modern platform standards (including Container Storage), your primary focus will be the architecture, management, and optimization of our NetApp and Pure Storage environments. You will bridge the gap between traditional high-performance hardware and modern automated infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities
- Storage Architecture: Design and maintain high-performance storage solutions (Block, File, and Object) using NetApp and Pure Storage.
- Data Resiliency: Define and execute robust data protection strategies, including immutable backups, disaster recovery (DR) orchestration, and business continuity planning.
