Job Description
Due to the current incumbent being promoted, we now have a vacancy for Stores Person / Driver at our Tring site. Scope: You will be responsible for liaising with customers/suppliers with regards to the drop off and collection of satellite communications equipment. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Stores Person/Driver will work within a team to ensure prompt, accurate, efficient package distribution and collections. We operate a 9 Day Fortnight work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the stores area
- Loading and unloading of goods
- Packing outbound products to suppliers and customers
- Ensure that goods are collected and delivered on time
- Maintain high level of service to all internal and external customers
- Proof of delivery sheets returned completed
- Sign receipts for courier deliveries
- Kit picking for Production
- Use of internal ICS system for stock control
