Data Centers are one of the most energy‑intensive industries, accounting for 2 % of global carbon emissions. Alfa Laval specializes in advanced industrial thermal management and fluid handling equipment designed to maximize energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of Data Centers. Cooling accounts for roughly 40 % of a data center’s total energy consumption, so our solutions are critical to improving metrics such as Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and Energy Reuse Effectiveness (ERE). Managing heat loads from modern AI and cloud computing infrastructure is of utmost importance for a sustainable future.
