Working within the Manufacturing Engineering department in Product Lines. PHINIA offers placements across a range of engineering, manufacturing, and support departments for students looking to pursue a career in engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of test equipment and instrumentation.
- Run and develop performance test procedures.
- Test rig improvements.
- Improving manufacturing cycle up‑times.
- Supporting established assembly and test processes.
- Cost reduction exercises.
- Manufacturing line support.
- Inspection of components from warranty, customer testing or internal testing.
- Interpretation of test data, synthesis of results, and reporting.
- Problem solving through a methodical approach and innovative techniques.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and process documentation.
