Take the lead in the Summer Fun Program at Shíshálh Nation, fostering educational experiences for kids aged 5-11. This unique opportunity encourages mentorship and active involvement in a culturally significant environment.
As the Team Lead, you will collaborate with supervisors to shape engaging activities while ensuring program safety and mentorship for youth employees. Your leadership will create a structured, enjoyable atmosphere for participants, making a real impact within the community. This seasonal role allows you to develop and deliver meaningful psycho-social support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate to plan engaging participant activities
• Implement safety protocols and incident reporting
• Mentor program youth employees effectively
• Facilitate enjoyable and educational experiences for children
• Organize necessary supplies for all activities
Requirements:
• Age of 16 or older at the time of intake
• Clear criminal record check required
