Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and establishing and maintaining effective and harmonious relationships with the on‑site staff.
• Having thorough knowledge of the contract documents, subcontracts, drawings, specifications, and addenda, and assisting the Site or General Superintendent in developing on‑site procedures.
• Planning and reviewing the site construction program with the Site or General Superintendent, including quality control, safety and environmental procedures, staging plans, equipment, and manpower.
• Coordinating, directing, and monitoring the Field Engineer/Coordinator’s inspection activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and own forces.
• Coordinating and directing, when necessary, the activities of inspection agencies and effecting remedial actions if required.
• Establishing and retaining communications between subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
