Job Description
Negotiation and coordination with quality engineers for the implementation of actions on issues related to the client, for example corrective actions, PPAP's, events from prototypes.
- Monitors, improves, and evaluates the performance of quality engineers' duties.
- Organize the distribution of workload of quality engineers and himself, with support from department management.
- Defines together with clients and engineers the acceptance criteria for plant products.
- Monitors and maintains an effective system to maintain product quality.
- Promotes problem-solving meetings with the departments involved.
- Responsible for complying according to their position with the requirements of AMS, IATF-16949 and ISO 14001. Prevention of PPSC's (Potential Product Safety Issue) as well as CTPAT. Perform Security Audits.
- Participation in high performance teams.
- Maintain contact with each business unit to determine and prevent quality problems in each launch program.
