Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Coordinate all freight shipments, domestic and international, ensuring the fastest and safest methods with cost effective results.Coordinate special efforts of “urgent air”, hand carry, and “rig down” shipments. Includes weekends and after regular office hours.Maintain good communication with the field for all freight consignment notifications and in particular for all urgent consignments.Know freight rates and other transportation costs to optimize working costs and keep financial discipline. Check invoices received from 3PL.Monitor KPI performance of 2PL/3PL.Assist with issues on PO’s and material receipts for all freight shipments.Liaise regularly with Rig OMC to coordinate shipments to/from Rig.
