SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the NUCLEAR ENGINEERING and PLANNING DEPARTMENT (Code 2300), NUCLEAR TEST ENGINEERING DIVISION (Code 2340), NUCLEAR REGIONAL MAINTENANANCE DEPARTMENT (NRMD) SUPPORT BRANCH (Code 2340.11) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will plan and execute the reactor plant test program for specific nuclear submarines and ships. You will plan, engineer and coordinate production of fluid and mechanical systems required to support the reactor plant maintenance and test program. You will be responsible for reviewing analyzing work assignments and projects. You will plan work, set priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will schedule reactor plant overhaul, refueling and test programs to ensure that proper protective devices and systems are available to protect the reactor plant.
