Supplementary Stevedore - Sydney Based

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary role of Supplementary Stevedores at White Bay Terminal is to support the safe and efficient operation of passenger vessels in Sydney during seasonal demand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Safely operating a Forklift (1.8 Tonne and 2.5 tonne Counter Balance)
2. Forklift Driving may be performed in R&D (Receivals and Deliveries) and during vessel operations (on the wharf)
3. Operate plant and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOP's) or as directed by management
4. Follow all company policies including, but not limited to, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1. Forklift operator – must have current high risk forklift licence
2. Knowledge and experience of Manual handling techniques
3. Previous experience on a Forklift (Minimum 12 Months)
