Support Worker

Job Summary

Part time and full time Support Workers needed for a multi award‑winning charity in St Helens (WA9). Hours vary between 8am‑8pm and 8pm‑8am, with flexible shift patterns and guaranteed contracted hours.

Pay: £13.12 per hour. Annual leave: 28 days inclusive of statutory bank holidays (full‑time) with pro‑rata for part‑time. Pension scheme. DBS paid by employer. No uniform required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support an all‑male house with four housemates aged 40‑68, providing daily care and companionship.
• Assist with personal care, communication, transport and activities in line with the charity’s ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ philosophy.
• Maintain person‑specific routines, safety protocols and mobility assistance (including Autism, Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy and moving & positioning support).
• Build a trusting relationship with each resident and be a positive influence in their daily life.
