Job Title: Support Worker

Job Location: Tredegar

Salary: £27,560.00 - £28,600.00 based on 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, plus potential sleep‑in allowance

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Supporting children to have the best quality of life possible—through activities such as baking, fun days out, or holidays.
• Ensuring children are kept safe and that their plans are suitable for their needs.
• Monitoring development by keeping systems and records up to date; all necessary training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion, and resilience; familiarity with the impact of trauma on behaviour.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required for interacting with various stakeholders and updating children’s plans.
