Support Worker/Personal Assistant – Hawick – 3071

A gentleman in Hawick is looking for support and assistance with carrying out his morning personal care routine and also assistance in the afternoon, to prepare and serve a meal, safely and efficiently.

Terms:

• Hours per week: 6.00 Hours
• Hours of work: Morning visit – (1 hour per day) Mon-Thur
• Hours of work: Afternoon visit – (30 mins per day) Mon–Thur
• £14.05 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

Job Description

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
• To support with morning personal care routine and showering.
• To support with daily general care needs including:
  • Meal and drink preparation.
  • Assistant to and from the toilet as and when required
