Empower youth as a Supported Independent Living Worker in Edmonton, AB. This part-time role allows you to provide support in a safe environment while helping clients develop crucial life skills.
As a Supported Living Worker, you'll work with children and youth to ensure their needs are met through a supportive, clean environment. Your responsibilities will include meal preparation, teaching community skills, and communicating effectively with supervisors about any challenges. You'll also collaborate on client programs with your team and Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer quality support in a clean living environment
• Handle meal planning and grocery purchases effectively
• Teach basic life and community skills to clients
• Ensure proper documentation and master files are updated
• Lead and guide in the absence of the Coordinator
Requirements:
• Previous experience in disability services is a must
• First Aid-CPR Level C Certificate is required
