Our client is an established Tier 1 supplier for the defence industry, working out of their purpose‑built facility which supports the full lifecycle for their product range. As well as offering a technically challenging product line with the opportunity of project ownership and working cross‑functionally, they have worked tirelessly to create and maintain a great culture and work ethic within the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Take the lead on multidisciplinary projects requiring optical, electro‑optical or laser capabilities
- Develop system and sub‑system requirements
- Full Product Lifecycle involvement, product design phase, inclusive of manufacturing
- Verification and validation planning and testing
Skill Required
- Engineering Degree or Equivalent
- Ideally worked with optronic products (not a deal breaker)
- Product Manufacturing background is a must
