System Technician (Thunder Bay)

Overview

System Technician – Field Operations located in Wawa, ON. Report to Manager of Operations. Responsible for construction and maintenance of outside plant network to deliver excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and support Rogers Ignite products and services including Internet, Home phone, TV/streaming.
• Provide in-home support, educate customers on Rogers offerings.
• Diagnose, repair and build all components of outside coaxial/fiber optic network.
• Operate test equipment for 2‑way coaxial and fiber systems (system analyzers, field strength meters, TDR, locators).
• Maintain accurate system records and support documentation for all work orders.
• Collaborate with internal departments, resolve complex, customer‑impacting issues quickly.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Valid full class‑5 driver’s license.
