Job Description
We are seeking an inspiring teacher to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality learning experiences to individual students and small groups. The role will cover both our Parkside House School sites in Ashington and Backworth.
What You’ll Do
- Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons (including GCSE in a core subject) for individuals and small groups
- Creating and reviewing Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans and tailored learning programmes
- Supporting nurture-based approaches and helping students develop emotional regulation and self-control
- Monitoring, recording and reporting progress, ensuring high-quality assessment and subject development
- Working collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and the wider multi-professional team
- Ensuring a safe, stimulating and well‑organised learning environment both on and off site
